Maxey, Harry
Mr. Harry Maxey died at the American Hotel here about 8:30 this Friday morning; following a long illness. Mr. Maxey who for years was a clerk in the Rock Island offices in Topeka, had been in failing health for the past several months and about two months ago came home and has since been here with his wife at the American Hotel where he has been under the care of a nurse and the best medical attention.
His death while great shock to the bereaved wife and his friends here, yet does not come as 'a surprise.
No funeral services will be held here. The remains will be shipped to Waco, Mo., where the funeral and interment will take place, and where the body. of Mr. and Mrs. Maxey's son, Frank, lies.
