McCabe, Bernice Louise

Baby's Gone

Surrounded by relatives and friends and amid the pretty flowers able to be secured the little white casket bearing all the remains and sweet life of the eight months daughter, Bernice Louise, the fourth child of Mr and Mrs Thomas H McCabe.

All the loving hands and medical aid could do, could not save her and the little soul took flight Tuesday, Nov, 25, 1907, only to leave the home again saddened in less than three months. Out of a family of four children but one remains to spear the hearts of its parents and to bear the lonliness of being deprived of brothers and sisters laid away.

Rev. Father Mechan spoke such words of comfort, but what mortal can console a mother at such time, only God can strengthen and comfort us in such times of trouble. The remains were laid away in Bazaar cemetery on Thanksgiving day the anniversary of another sad occasion in the family.
