McCoy, Nelson
Nelson McCoy was born in Indiana Sept. 9, 1838 and died March 9, 1908 aged 69 years and 6 months. He was married to Mary D Speece in 1868 and came to Kansas in 1877.
To them were born five children, four of whom are living, namely, Clara Ames, Edward McCoy, Mrs. Mary Pigman and Bertman McCoy.
Mr McCoy was married to his last wife, Susie Golden, In 1883. To this union were born, four children, two of whom are living Both of these, Roy and George McCoy are at home.
The funeral was conducted by Rev. A W. Way in the home two miles north of Plymouth March 10th at 9:30 a. m. The remains were taken to 0lpe and laid to rest in the Olpe cemetery.
