McDonald, Mary A O'Donnell

DEATH OF MRS. GEO. MCDONALD

Funeral services for Mrs. Geo. W. McDonald, former well known Strong City resident was held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Strong City, last Wednesday afternoon. Interment was in the Strong City Catholic Church.

Mrs. McDonald's death occurred Sunday, January 1, in Kansas City, following a short illness.

Mrs. McDonald is survived by her husband, a son and a daughter, Francis A. McDonald of Dalhart, Texas and Mrs. Joe Ebeck, of Kansas City. Other relatives are her brothers, Michael O'Donnell of Kansas City and William O'Donnell of Council Grove; her sisters Mrs. Margaret O'Donnell,of Matfield; Mrs. A. L. Clern of Portland, Oregon, Mrs. John Bishop of Richmond, California; Mrs. Harry Boggs of Kansas City; Mrs. Frank Ghrer of Herington, Kansas; Mrs. E. P. Ter Veen and Mrs. E. J. Brayton, both of Muskogon, Michigan.

The McDonald family lived in Strong City for many years, at which time Mr. McDonald worked for the Santa Fe and it was there that most of the McDonald children were born.
