McGraw, James Truman

James Truman McGraw 67, died Nov. 14, 2005, of cancer, in Wichita.

James the son of Cecil "Mac" James McGraw and Dorothy D. Dwire, was born Aug. 22, 1938, in El Dorado. He lived in Valley Center and Wichita for the last 38 years. He graduated from Chase County High School in 1956.

He married Patty Fillmore on June 1, 1958, at Strong City They were divorced. He remarried later and divorced.

He is survived by two daughters, Vicki Sue Smerker, Manhattan, Kan. and Lori Dore, address unknown; a brother, Bill McGraw, Wilmington, N. C.; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a niece; and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant son, James Doyle McGraw. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m., in Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center. Cremation has taken place.
