McKittrick, James Daniel
OBITUARY JAS. D. McKITTRICK
R
James Daniel McKittrick was born February 17th, 1853 in Stanford, Lincoln County, Kentucky. He departed from this life October 24th, 1924, age 71 years, 8 months and 7 days.
In 1882 he was united in marriage to Laura Calder. They came to Kansas in 1884, where they have resided every since. To this union were born six children, two boys and four girls, James and Quessie McKittrick, Mrs. Jennie Sayre, Mrs. Katie Myers, Mrs. Frances Phillips and Alice McKittrick. James W. departed from this life three years ago. He also leaves two brothers and a host of friends to mourn his loss.
At the age of fourteen years, he became a member of the Church of Christ in Stanford, Kentucky.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J M. Cockrill at the Wonsevu church, Sunday, October 26th. His
body was laid to rest in the Wonsevu cemetery.
