McKnight, Carl Laverne

Friends of Mr and Mrs McKnight will be grieved to learn of the death of their son, Carl Laverne, who died at the St Francis Hospital in Wichita, January 21st, 1927, following a illness due to scarlet fever and a mastoid after undergoing an operation.

Carl was 12 years of age and was born near Hamilton, Kansas, April 29th, 1914. His mother died Feb 6 1919. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Mr and Mrs Carl L McKnight, and four sisters, Opal, Alice, Eunice and Bernice and one brother, John all of Eureka.

The McKnight family lived here for several years. Mrs. McKnight will be better remembered as Miss Frankie Johnson and is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Arville Johnson of Matfield Green.
