EARLY SETTLER DIES

Mr. Madison Mitchel, along time resident of Matfield Green and vicinity died suddenly at his home Wednesday afternoon at five o'clock.

Mr. Mitchel who was seventy-five years old had lived over half his life in or near Matfield Green and had just returned from a public sale near there when he very suddenly took sick and died within thirty minutes.

He was a quite, respected citizen all his life, he made no boasts and always tended his own business and was highly respected for this.

He leaves, his loving wife, one son, Peter, of Matfield Green, and one daughter, Mrs. Glen Fisher, of Cedar Point. The funeral services were held in the home at Matfield Green, Friday afternoon at 2.30. Interment in the Matfield Green cemetery.
