Harry D Montgomery, Dead
Harry D Montgomery, 423 South Market St., a veteran employee of the city street department, died this morning in Newman Memorial County Hospital. Funeral services will be in the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel with the time to be announced later.
Mr. Montgomery was born Dec. 11, 1886, in Chase County, the son of John and Margaret Gray Montgomery. He married Lillian Zieammermann in 1918 in Emporia. She died Dec 25, 1928.
Surviving are a son, Donald H., 428 South Market St.; a daughter, Mrs Robert Ruple, 509 Wilson St.; three brothers, D R., Rt 4, John, Rt. 5, and James A. Montgomery, Blacie, Alberta, Canada; three sisters, Miss Katherine Montgomery, of the home, Miss Margaret Montgomery, Santa Monica, Calif., and Mrs. D. D. Stewart, Calgary, Canada; and one granddaughter, Diana Jane Ruple.
