Moore, Verda R

Former Cottonwood Falls resident, Mrs. Roy A. Moore, 96, of Coleman, Texas, died March 3, 1995, at a Coleman nursing home. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker.

Mrs. Moore was born July 21, 1898 in Johnson County. She married Roy A. Moore on June 3, 1920, at Kansas City, Mo. He died earlier. Mrs. Moore was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church in Coleman and a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

A service was held Sunday in the Walker Funeral Chapel at Coleman, Texas. Graveside services and burial were held at Prairie Grove Cemetery in Cottonwood Falls on Tuesday. Croy Funeral Home inCottonwood Falls was in charge of local arrangements.
