Morgan, Jessie C Jessie C. Morgan, 77, died Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at Central Medical Center in Great
Bend.
Jessie, the son
of Dean F. and
Letha Mae Cunningham Morgan, was born Aug. 7, 1928, in Elkart. He graduated from Cedar Point High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1954. He was employed at the Crofoot Cattle Company as a mechanic for 10 years, the Kansas Fish and Game
Commission for 15 years, was a Realtor for Crawford Realty for 15 years and owned and operated G & H Auction for the last 15 year he was employed.
On April 7, 1951, he married Marilyn Markley in Strong City, where they made their first home. They later moved to Lincoln, Kan., and then to Bison in 2003.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Michael Morgan, Lyndon; three daughters, Linda K. Achterberg, Hays Gail D. Nielander, Kinsley, and Sally A. Williams, Lacrosse; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Roy F. Morgan, Strong City; and two sisters, Lorene Whitcomb, Marquette and Mabel Shaw, Marion.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorial may be sent to Great Bend Rehabilitation Alzheimer Unit, 1560 K 96 Hwy, Great Bend, KS 67530.
