Morris, Lulu M Selves Mrs. S. S. Morris.
Lulu. M. Selves, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Selves, was born in Falls Township, Chase County, Kansas, October 2, 1886, and died April 4, 1906.
She was a graduate of the common schools in 1901 and of Chase County High School in the Normal course class of 1904. After teaching one-year, Miss Selves married Sheridan Morris, July 4th, 1905. Her death came as a great blow to her husband and friends, after an illness of only a few hours.
Prayers were said at her late home and the funeral services held at the Miller school house on South Fork, April 5th, the Rev. F. D. Chatterton officiating.
Mrs. Morris was a good and dutiful
daughter, a loving sister, a kind wife,
a true woman. All who knew her loved
her. Many friends sympathize with
the bereaved family in their great loss.
