Ott, Marge Eastman

Marge Ott, 87, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, at John Knox Village Care Center, Lee's Summit, Mo.

Marge Eastman, the daughter of Daniel Webster and Emma Selves Eastman, was born Dec. 26, 1917, at Matfield Green. She grew up in Matfield Green and graduated from Matfield Rural High School with the class of 1935 and attended Emporia State College.


She is also survived by four sons, William Daniel Ott of Kingsville, Texas, John E. Ott of Allentown, Pa., Michael A. Ott of Ottawa and David E. Ott of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Von Eulert and Patricia Crofoot both of Wichita, and Jean Powell of Tulsa, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Phyllis Knocke and Barbara Jenlink; and a grandson. Memorial services were held Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa.
