Joanna Parker - May 9, 1885 Died in this city, at the residence of her son-in-law, Judge S P Young, of old age at 6:30 pm, Saturday, May 9, 1885.

Mrs Joanna Parker in the 88th year of her age. She leaves three children, ten grandchildren, and four great grand children to mour her death. The funeral took place, Sunday, afternoon from the residence of Judge Young, the R.V. & N B Johnson officiating and the remains were interred in the cemetery west of town. She was a member of the Old School Presbyterian Church.
