Patton, Noble Marion

Noble Marion Patton, 86, of Morganville died Sunday, April 24 2005, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

Noble, the son of Clarence Ray and Lula Blanche Pratt Patton, was born Nov 8, 1918, in Chase County He married Frances Blosser on Feb. 21, 1943. She preceded him in death on Aug. 1, 2002.

They lived in the Homestead Community in Chase County before moving to Cottonwood Falls in 1965 and then to Morganville in 1967. He managed the Morganville Co-op. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Order of Eastern Star #180, ISIS Shrine temple and BPOE.

He is survived by two daughters, Jerry Loader, Clay Center and Datha Olney, Barrington, Ill.; a son, N.M. Patton, Peabody; a sister, Hope Spain, Marion; a brother, Chad Patton, Cassoday; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two sisters.

Funeral services were Thursday, April 28, at 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Clay Center, with Rev. Darlene Nonhof officiating. Memorials to the Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital may be sent in care of Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home, 918 7th St., Clay Center, KS 67432.
