Razor, William Sherman Jr "Bill"

Bill Razor, 70, died Oct. 21, 2001, at Winter Haven, Fla.

He was born Sept. 17, 1931, the son of William Sherman Sr. and Clara (Frick) Razor of rural Marion. They moved to rural Florence where he attended school. He graduated from Florence High School in 1949.

On Aug 19, 1951, he married Lois Lundgren. Upon retirement in 1996, he moved to Winter Haven, Fla., and married Bobbie Gano.

He worked heavy construction with such projects as Tuttle Creek Dam, Missile Bases, Cheney Lake and Clinton Lake in Missouri. In 1964 he went to work at Boeing until 1971 when he began driving truck for Phillips Industries, and TNT Dugan out of Wichita until his retirement. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, avid sportsman, gun collector and enjoyed many outdoor activities with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Sherman Razor, son, Randy and grandson, Michael Moody.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbi, of the home; mother, Clara Razor of Marion; children, Carolyn Sue Moody of Ulysses, Kenneth Allen Lundgren of Marion, Kendra Sue McDermeit of Winter Haven, Fla; three stepsons in Florida; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren in Florida; one sister Marjorie O'Brien and two nieces. Visitation will be at Zeiner Funeral Home Oct 24, 2001, at the Marion Christian Church at 10:00 am Rev John Yates will officiate. Internment will be in Marion Cemetery.
