Schmidt, Desiree Marie Desiree Marie Schmidt,
13, of El Dorado, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Feb.
18, 2004, at Susan B. Allen
Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 11,
1990, at Wichita, the
daughter of Melvin and
JoLynn Stalnaker Schmidt.
Desiree grew up in
Cassoday, and was an 8th
grader at Flinthills Middle
School. She attended
kindergarten at Skelly
School in El Dorado,
attended Cassoday Grade
School, Sheridon
Elementary in Junction
City and Junction City
Middle School before going
to Flinthills Middle School.
Survivors are her mother of the home; her father,
Cassoday; sister, Chelsey;
grandparents, Leonard and
Joan Stalnaker, Cassoday
and Susie Schmidt, El
Dorado; several aunts and
uncles and their respective
families.
She was preceded in
death by her grandfather,
Louie Schmidt; and great-
grandparents, Elmer and
Onis Stalnaker.
Funeral services were
Feb. 23, 2004, at Carlson
Funeral Home, El Dorado.
Burial followed in Walnut
Valley Memorial Park, El
Dorado.
The family request
memorials in her memory
for the Desiree Schmidt
Memorial Fund be left at
Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado.
