Schroer, Dean Dean Schroer died at the Morris County Hospital on Nov. 27, 2001.
Services are pending at Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home. The funeral of Dean Schroer, 85, Strong City, was Nov. 30, 2001, in Grace Lutheran Church at Strong City. The Rev. David Parks conducted the service. Entombment was in Strong City Cemetery. Mr. Schroer who was a farmer, died Nov. 27, 2001 at the Morris County Hospital in Council Grove. Dean Schroer, the son of Alfred and Katherine Reifsnyder Schroer, was born Sept 7, 1916, at Elk. He married Ella Mae Brecht on June 9, 1941, at Strong City. Mr. Schroer was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Strong City.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Ace Schroer of Strong City; two daughters, Linda Schroer of Wichita and Pamela Schienbein of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchilden. Memorial contributions to the Grace Lutheran Church, the Lutheran Hour or the Lutheran Braille Workers may be sent to Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls.
