Scott, Margaret

Former area resident Margaret E. Scott, 80, of Parsons died Oct. 22, 2002, in Parsons. Mrs. Scott lived in California and in Saffordville, Cheney, Winfield and Emporia before she moved to Parsons. Her husband, Edward E. Scott, died Sept. 19, 1993. Survivors include a daugh ter, Linda-Beth Cook of Parsons; and son Larry E. Scott of Elkins, W.Va.

The funeral was Oct. 25, 2002, in the First Presbyterian Church at Parsons. Inurnment was in Fort Scott National Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the First Presbyterian Church in Parsons or the Alzheimer's Association can be sent to the Carson-Wall Funeral Home, P.O: Box 942, Parsons, KS 6737.
