Sigel, Faye Crawford

Faye Crawford Sigel, 82, died at an Osawatomie Care Facility Feb. 28, 2003. Services were Tuesday in the First Presbyterian Church U.S.A. with Rev. Pat Ireland officiating. Interment followed in Prairie Grove Cemetery.

Faye Crawford was born on July 31, 1920, in Chase County to Dana and Susie Hensler Crawford. She was formerly married to Dr. Carter B. Sigel. Mrs. Sigel was a member of the First Presbyterian Church U.S.A. in Cottonwood Falls and the Presbyterian Women, and the Presbyterian Mariners. She was a retired legal sec- retary for Perkins and Hollembeak of Emporia.

She is survived by three sons, Eric Sigel of Cottonwood Falls, Steve Sigel of Roanoke, Va., and Joe Sigel of Paola; three daughters, Dr. Coleen Troutman of Peoria, Ill., Karen Kaiser of Brumley, Mo., and Greta Crawford of Sundance, Wyo.; a brother, Joe Crawford of Cottonwood Falls; 18 grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren. She was pre- ceded in death by a sister, Chrissie Davis and two grand- daughters.

Memorials are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church in care of Brown-Bennett- Alexander Funeral Home, 201 Cherry, Cottonwood Falls 66845.
