Stinson, Viola "Dusty"

Viola "Dusty" Stinson, 54, Strong City, died Jan. 9, 2005, at Council Grove.

Viola, the daughter of Heasle and Leona Hickey Wheeler, was born May 27, 1950, at Burwin, Neb. She married Ken Stinson, May 21, 1983, in Greeley, Colo.

She worked as a nurses aid, a truck driver and spent much of her life as a housewife and homemaker.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Virgil Littrel, Paris, Texas and David Stinson, Emporia; a daughter, Donnelle K. Green, Columbus, Mo.; two brothers, George Wheeler, Overton, Neb. and Don Coach, North Platte, Neb.; two sisters, Irene Hendershot, Spokane, Wash. and Twana Phillips, Marion; and seven grand-children. She was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Wheeler.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, at the Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion, with Pastor Larry Timm officiating. Burial was in Claney Cemetery, rural Marion. Memorials are suggested to the family to assist in payment of funeral expenses in care of funeral home, 205 Elm, Marion, KS 66861.
