Marshall, Grace Koick Umberger
Grace Koick Umberger Marshall, 95, formerly of Topeka, died at the home of her daughter in Noank, Conn., Friday, Jan. 4, 2008.
She was the daughter of Harry and Rachel Umberger. Harry was the Dean of Extension at Kansas State University for many years and grew up on the family farm near Hymer in Chase County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Ralph Marshall in 1999.
She had lived with her daughter, Lynne Marshall, for nearly five years in Connecticut.
She is survived by her daughter and many nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service was held on Friday, Jan. 11, at Mt. Hops Cemetery in Topeka.
