Wagoner, Ruby Brandley

DEATH OF MRS, J. E. WAGONER.

The death of Mrs. Ruby Wagoner which occurred at St. Mary's Hospital in Emporia at 12:30 o'clock last Tuesday afternoon has brought great sorrow to her relatives and many friends in this county.

She was operated on several weeks ago in Topeka.

Mrs. Wagoner's maiden name was Miss Ruby Brandley. She was born in Matfield Green about forty years ago.

She was married to J. E. Wagoner in 1903.

Mrs. Wagoner is survived by Mr. Wagoner, a son, Claude Wagoner; four sisters, Mrs. E. C. Crocker and Mra. Jack Harsh, both of Matfield Green; Mrs. Arthur Crocker, of Bazaar, and Mrs. Flo Lampey, of Kansas City, and one brother, Bob Brandley of Matfield Green. Mrs. Wrgcner was a member of the Methodist Church.

The remains were brought from Emporia to Matfield where the funeral ws held at 3:00 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Rev. Mayo, of this city, preached the sermon after which interment was made in the family cemetery on the Brandley farm this side of Matfield Green.
