Walker, Louisa

Mrs. Louisa Walker, a former resident of Strong City, died Saturday evening at 6:30 o’clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Louise Jennings, in Hutchinson at the age of 77 years. The body was brought to Strong City, Monday, and interment made in the Catholic cemetery after services at the Catholic Church, conducted by Father Disselkamp.

Mrs. Walker made her home in Strong City for many years. With Mr. Walker she had come here from Virginia. He died a number of years ago. A few years ago Mrs. Walker went to Hutchinson to live with her daughter.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Henning and Miss Stalla Walker of Hutchinson; three sisters, Mrs. Lizzie McDonald of Houston, Tex., Miss Maggie Senior of Chicago, and Sister Fedalis of Leavenworth.

Miss Senior was here for the funeral but the others were unable to come. Mrs. McDonald is critically sick at the home of her son, Charles McDonald, in Houston. Others from out-of-town who were here for the funeral were Mrs. Walker’s grandchildren, Mrs. Gertrude Rice of Kansas City and Frank Henning and Mrs. Frank Henning of Hutchinson.
