Waner, Willard A
Willard A. Waner, 92, died Friday, July 23, 2004, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence.
Willard A. Waner, the son of Joseph and Ina Waner, was born April 8, 1912, at Florence. He was a retired farmer. He married Grace Waltie on April 26, 1939, at Florence.
He was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church in
Lawrence. He had lived in Ottawa since 1964.
He is survived by a brother, Thomas P. Waner, Lawrence; a sister,
Bernadine Gronau, Newton; and 13 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents and a sister; Pauline R. Waner; and two brothers Louise B. Waner and
Raymond J. Waner.
Graveside services were Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Florence with Fr. Steve Gronert officiating. Zeiner Funeral Home, Florence, was in charge of the services.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
