Weed, Mrs H B

Death of Mrs. H. B. Weed.—Memorial Service next Sunday Morning.

The friends of Mrs. H. B. Weed were saddened, indeed, to hear a few days ago of her death, at Simsburry, Hartford co., Connecticut.

On the 19th of April she gave birth to twin baby girls, one of which is still living, and one was born dead. Puerperal fever set in immediately, and she grew worse each day. At intervals she was conscious of her condition, and expressed her wishes in regard to her burial and other matters connected with her personal effects. Afterwards her fever took a violent form, delirium setting in. She then failed rapidly and on Wednesday, the 20th, at 1 o'clock, she passed away.

Mrs. Weed for several years a resident of this city, a member of the Congregational church and a zealous active Christian. Her body, always frail, carried an unusually fine and generous soul. She was universally beloved and her death is a sad loss.

Memorial service will be held at the Congretational church next Sabbath morning, instead of the regular Sabbath school exercises. May 20 1883
