Weiss, Louis E

Louis E. Weiss, 85, of Augusta, died July 3, 2005. He was a successful owner and operator of a manufacturing company, rancher, developer and real estate broker affiliated with J.P. Weigand. He was a former President of Kansans for the Right to Work and a member of the Wichita Rotary Club. He was a member of the Augusta Methodist Church serving many years on the church finance committee.


A memorial service was held at the Augusta Methodist Church, Augusta on Wednesday, July 6, 2005. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Augusta Methodist Church, 2420 N. Ohio, Augusta, KS 67010 or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market St., Wichita, KS 67202.
