White, Alberta Thoroman

ALBERTA THOROMAN WHITE DIES IN KANSAS CITY

The many Cottonwood Falls and Chase county acquaintances of theA. M. Thoroman family were grieved to hear of the recent death of Mrs. Alberta Thoroman White, who was the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thoroman.

The Thoroman family lived here for a good many years when Mr Thoroman was head of the Chase County high school. At the present, time he is superintendent of the Iola, Kansas, schools.

Mr. and Mrs. Thornoman's three daughters were Ruth, Alberta, Miriam, and Dorothy. Mr. White is manager of one of the Crown Drug stores of Kansas City.

"Mrs. Richard M. White, 28, who before her marriage was Miss Alberta Thoroman, of Topeka, died Tuesday in St. Joseph's hospital in Kansas City, Mo. She was a graduate of Washburn college and a member o Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and Central Congregational church. She had made her home in Kansas City about four years.

She is survived by her husband, four children, Sara Katherine, Richard, James, and a new-born baby; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M A Thoroman, Iola; and two sisters, Mrs. W. C. Slocum, Wichita, and Miss Miriam Thoroman, Iola.

Funeral services will be at the Wall-Diffenderfer mortuary Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery.
