Williams, Elizabeth Owen

Mrs, Elizabeth Williams Dead.

Mrs. Elizabeth Owen Williams, one of the well known residents of this city and Strong City, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. L. Hilton last Tuesday evening following a brief illness caused by a stroke of paralysis which she suffered last week.

Mrs. Williams was seventy years of age and is survived by three children who are Mrs. W. H. Perry, of Little River, Kansas; Mrs. D. L. Hilton, of Strong City and L. 0. Williams, of Tucumcari, New Mexico. Her husband, the late Lee Williams, died at his home in this city two years ago.

The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at two-thirty, at the Church of Christ, Clayton Gaul, of Wichita, preaching the sermon, after which interment was made in the Strong City cemetery.

The many friends and neighbors of the sorrowing children extend to them their sincere sympathy in their hour of saddness.
