Winnegar, Oren H

Oren H. Winnegar, brother-in-law of Mr. R. F. Holmes of this city, died while on a visit at the home of his son, Willard 0. Winnegar, of Fort Logan, Colorado. His death occurred Friday, January 7th, at the age of 78 years.

The funeral was held at the home of another son, Elmer Winnegar, three miles east of Greely, Colorado.

Besides the, two sons, Mr. Winnegar is survived by four grandchildren, and one brother, Dr. Amos Winnegar, of Howell, Michigan.

Many of the early day residents of Chase county will remember Mr. and Mrs. Winnegar who farmed in Cottonwood Falls and Diamond Creek township in the eighties.
