Workman, LaVonne A Bocook LaVonne A. Workman,
of Topeka, died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005, at her home.
LaVonne, the daughter of Adrian E. and Dorothy A. Harlan Bocook, was born March 20, 1927, in Matfield Green.
She graduated from Emporia Beauty School in 1946 and worked in both Emporia and Topeka. She was a member of the Kaw Valley Lodge No. 514 Topeka Genealogy Society.
She married Leland C. Workman on Nov. 17, 1947, in El Dorado.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, LaNae K. Workman of Topeka; and a sister, Carolyn Bowman of Kimberling City, Mo.
She was preceded in death by a son, Lance K. Workman.
Services were held Monday, Oct. 31, at Penweii-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Graveside committal services were held at Matfield Green Cemetery, Matfield Green.
