Wren, Almira M.

Mrs. Almira M. Wren who will be remembered by many of the older residents of the Cedar Point vicinity were grieved to learn of her death at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dora A. Collins, at McCook, Nebraska, November 29th.

Mrs. Wren’s maiden name was Elmira M. Seasons. She was born at Wheaton, Ill., Dec. 11th, 1854, and was 72 years of age at the time of her death.

She moved from Illinois to this county in 1871, where she lived at Cedar Point, with her brother, who was in the hardware business for many years.

She was married to Wm. H. Wren, of Marion county in 1874. The family then lived in Marion county until the death of Mr. Wren in 1900.

Mrs. Wren has five children surviving her, 0. I. Wren, of Manly, Iowa; W. A. Wren, of Peabody; Paul Wren, of Kansas City, Mo.; Miss Esther Wren, of Marion, and Mrs. Dora A. Collins, of McCook, Nebr.

The funeral was held at McCook, where interment was made.
