Ybarra, Teresa L Luna
Teresa L. Ybarra, 72, died
May 1, 2003, at the Morris
County Hospital, in Council
Grove. A Rosary was recited
May 5, 2003 at St. Anthony
Catholic Church, Strong City.
Mass of Christian Burial was
May 6, 2003 at St. Anthony
Catholic Church with Father
Jeffery Fasching officiated.
Interment was in St.
Anthony's Cemetery.
Teresa L. Luna, the daughter of Melecio and Carmen
Asevedo Luna, was born Oct.
19, 1930, at Emporia. She
married Fidel G. Ybarra on
Dec. 13, 1948, at Cottonwood
Falls. He survives. She was a
homemaker and.an active
member of St. Anthony
Catholic Church in Strong
City.
She is survived by three
sons, Stephen Ybarra of
Topeka, Fidel Ybarra, Jr. of
Emporia and, Nicholas F.
Ybarra of Wichita; three
daughters, Lisa Lewis of
Wichita, Bernadette Gutierrez
and Linda Woodling, both of
Emporia; three sisters, Hope
Lopez of Kansas City, Mo.,
Delfina Rangel of Wichita and
Jovita Fonseca of Chicago,
Ill.; 13 grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by a daughter, Rosemary Cook; an infant
son, Nicholas Ybarra; four sisters, Felisa Delgado,
Guadalupe Dorsey, Pomposa
Fonsece and Maria Luna; two
brothers, Alfonso Luna and
Antonia Luna; and one grandson.
Memorial contributions are
suggested to the American
Cancer Society and may be
sent in care of the Brown-
Bennett-Alexander Funeral
