Yeager, Loverna Hazel

Mrs. Loverna Hazel Yeager, wife of Frank Yeager and daughter of Mr and Mrs. James Hazel died Sept 8th 1904, twenty nine years of age.

This is the brief annal of life; She has left her earthly habitation and gone to her Father's house of many mansions. The Angel of Death never led a gentler spirit home. So devoted so true, so generous, so charitable; she needs no earthly care; she needs no worldly physician. She is in the care of the Savior, and the Great Physician will cure her of all her ills.

In death she seemed to sleep. On her lips was a smile of peace. God gives his beloved rest. Her pain and suffering left no trace onface or lineament. She never murmured while sick and sore. She never accused, never complained. Like a tired soldier, who fights a good fight, she laid down to rest. How sweet is the rest of the just. Nothing shall dsturb that rest.

Her example to the living is expressed by the word, duty. She did her duty well, in the relation of parent, wife, sister, neighbor, friend. She made no boast, no display, no pretense. She simply did her duty and did it well. We know not the decrees of Providence. We simply trust, and in trusting, we believe all is ordered well. She made a good fight; she kept the faith; she finished her course. By the faith of the faithful we are assured that she has heard the Savior's all, well done, good and faithful servant, enter into the Kingdom of the Lord.
