Yoder, Marion K Marion K Yoder, 77, died Thursday, March 9, 2006, at the Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita.
Marion K Yoder, the son of Amon and Beulah King Yoder, was born Aug. 4, 1928, at Peabody. He and Betty L. Reed were married Feb. 12, 1961, at Wichita.
Mr. Yoder was a farmer all of his life. He was a member of the Zeredatha Masonic Lodge #80, A.F. & A.M. and the Falls Chapter #25 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
He is survived by his wife of the home; a son, James A. Yoder of Marion; and three sisters, Mildred Harding of Hillsboro, Patsy McLendon of Weatherford, Texas and Mary Louise Ritter of Billings, Mont.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, March 15, at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Chapel in Cottonwood Falls. Pastor Rick Smith officiated the service. Cremation had taken place and honoring his request, his ashes will be scattered on his farm.
