parents were Wm. Martin Luther KIKER and Cordelia Frances HOLLOWAY. Anything

Researching the JAMES family in Cherokee County. Walter Rutherford, b. 1852,
and Lurana Rosella (DUNAWAY) JAMES, b. 1859 and their children were living in
Cherokee Co. by 1893 when Lurana died, probably in childbirth. She is buried in
Lone Elm Cemetery. Their daughter Treacy (1882-1895) was also buried in Lone
Elm Cemetery. The family was in Colorado by 1904 when Walter died. Their
children included: Mildred Louise b. 1880 in Linn Co. KS, Clarence Marion b.
1884 in Chase Co. KS, Myrtle S. (1886-1886) Chase Co. KS, Jennie Louella b.
1887, Gracie Ann b. 1889 in Chase Co. KS. Any information on this family would
be appreciated.

database. They were Quakers from Grant Co. IN and were in your Co. for the
birth of their first child, Bertie Marshall on 4-1-1882, also for Joseph
G. Marshall 8-19-83, Claudius F. Marshall 2-5-1885 and were gone to MI in
the year 1887. The wife of Wm. R. Marshall was Ruth Ellen Cook Marshall,
also from Grant Co. IN.

I am looking for information on how to find the wife of my husbands
gr gr gr grandfather. I have his will which states the names of
his children but his wife was already deceased at the time he
prepared his will. His name was Erastus Dugan born 1-16-1837 died
11-18-1927. The will was prepared by F.B. Dodds, Attorney, House
Building, county of Cherokee, State of KS. It states Erastus was
from Galena, KS. Is there any way to find info on his wife. She
was not listed in his obit. either. He had nine children but no
mention of his wife in the obit. I am not from the KS area and
would appreciate greatly any help you can render. Thank you

We are trying to learn all we can about my gggrandparents, James Melvin
and Sarah Rebecca (SMITH) ROSS. According to our records Melvin died
November 18, 1896 and Rebecca died August 6, 1895. They were both
buried in Bird Cemetary in Pleasant View. Melvin had lived in Arcadia,
Crawford Co. Any information about this couple would be valued.
