Looking for information on my grandparents, Benjamin Oscar CORNER, b. 2 Sep 1876 d. 11 Nov 1935, s/o William Benjamin Corner b. 24 Mar 1846 d. 25 Jul 1887 and Mary A. b. 3 Mar 1847 d. 14 Feb 1898 and my grandmother Lula Ethel ISLEY, b. 27 Dec 1890, d. Apr 1972. Benjamin and Lula married in Carthage, Jasper Co, MO, on 9 Sep 1908 and gave their residences as Galena, Cherokee Co, KS. Lula was the d/o Stanford Pryor Isley, b. 29 Jan 1852 and Cordelia Vashti RANDOLPH, b. 28 Jan 1861, d. 1945. Lula's siblings included: Mary Margaret, Jackson Bartlett, Dora L, Maude L., Alvin L, Bessie M., Merrill Lee, Neta F., and Nota Belle. Stanford was the s/o Bartlet G. and Margaret Isley. It is my understanding that Stanford and Cordelia Vashti are buried in a small cemetery near Riverton, Cherokee County. Benjamin, Lula, William, and Mary are all buried at Power's cemetery near Diamond, Newton Co, MO Family history is that Lula first saw Benjamin while she and her family were at a church picnic in Galena and he came into town walking up the railroad tracks. She already had a son and listed her name as Isley-Brock in her bible. Ggrandfather Stanford may have been a preacher and/or a miner, as there is some reference to his working in the mines near Pitcher, Ottawa Co, OK. Am particularly interested in making connection with the family of Cordelia Vashti Randolph. Hope these names are familiar and someone may be able to help me trace these "difficult lines."

Does anyone have any information on the J.F. Randolph Family recorded as family/household 39 on the 1895 Census? J.F. is listed as a farmer, age 62, from Ohio. Included in the household is Martha, age 37 a domestic from Missouri; (D.L.) age 10, B.R. age 8, and either Nina or Mina May age 6, all from Kansas.

This farm is almost adjacent to the one for Stanford Pryor Isley and Cordelia Vashti Randolph. I am hoping that since Martha is listed as a domestic, rather than house wife, that she is the daughter of J.F. and the sister of Cordelia, rather than a second wife.

Any hints or suggestions would be appreciated
