Topic: Thomas 'Tommie' Johnson, b. abt. 1918-19
From: Judith Williams rejwcewe@aol.com
Date: Saturday, December 20, 2003 08:24 PM

Seeking birth and death information about Thomas "Tommie" Johnson, born to Rathburn (Rothburn) and Sarah "Sallie" Williams Johnson about 1918 or 1919, probably in Baxter Springs (Cherokee County) area. My mother Luceal was born in 1904 in Baxter Springs and described rocking her sick little brother who died about age 2 years from "consumption". My mother said he was born "after Gladys" who was born in 1917. The family moved away from Kansas in 1919, first to Missouri, then to Montana. At most a search could cover 1904--1919. The children born in the Kansas area were Luceal, Madlean, Martha, Gladys, and Thomas, Ellonia. Would appreciate your help in laying this mystery to rest, including where Tommie might be buried if you can locate any records on the family.

I'm searching for the burial location of Rosalee Dupire-Holt-Coker. I don't know which name she would have used. I've heard she is buried in Columbus Cemetery. Her husband was Robert Holt and "unknown Coker". She was born 18 Jul 1894 and died 16 Sep 1957. I'm also searching for Jennie Virginia Dupire (or possibly another last name), born 1893 and died 1914....I've heard she is buried in Weir, but I'm just not sure. Thank you, Mary

From: Gary Cooper gdcooper@sbcglobal.net

I'm doing family tree research. My wifes grandfather, Roy H. Hutchins, was born in Galena Kansas on July 16, 1896 to James Madison Hutchins and Emaline Jones. This info was obtained off a Social Security Application for Roy that was filled out March 6, 1942. I'm searching for more information on James Madison or Emaline Jones. Unsure if they were married and she was Emaline Hutchins or what. Is there anyone there that could research this for me and let me know what they find?
