Seek info/contact with descendants of Olive Carter Patterson and Leslie Patterson. Olive was born in IL in 1854 to Mary Lane and Leonard Carter, the family moved to Iowa where Fred was born in 1857, then to Kansas in 1859. Two more children were born there, namely Sarah and Rufas.

Children of Olive and Leslie were J. Leslie, Janet, Lyle Edward, and William Lee. Olive and Leslie Patterson are buried in Borland Cemetery, Columbus, Cherokee Co. KS. Janet married William Parsons, their children were: Lee Edward, Joseph Melvin, Leslie Jay, Ray Samuel, Olive C., Dick, Eathel I., Alexander and William M.

Olive married Elmer Williams, one child: Leslie married Delores Lanfear, their children were Month G., Mark and Scott.

Olive's brother Fred is my great grandfather. Thank you for any help you can give me.

I am the great granddaughter of an Edward Aaron Flynn He is the father of Benjamin Harrison Flynn who was married to Martha Walls. Family lore is that Edward Aaron Flynn along with his son, William Flynn, died in a mine explosion or accident and was buried in Cherokee County, Kansas around 1889 or 1890.
We have no other information on Mr. Edward Aaron Flynn. Any information you can give us would be more than we have.
We would appreciate an obituary or death notice or mention of a mine accident which killed either him alone or Edward Aaron and his son, William.
If he had parents or children listed, that would be wonderful.
If we could confirm his date of birth or year of birth and where he was born that would be wonderful.
If he was ever married to anyone other than Martha Alma Rosetta Walls, that would be a good thing to know, he probably was, because he had a son Named William R. We believe.
We think he was born in Bath, New York.
Thank for your time. We greatly appreciate ANY information on the elusive Edward Aaron Flynn.
