Obituary of SOPHIE BAESSLER
FUNERAL of MRS. SOPHIE BAESSLER.

Sophie Fey Baessler was born on October 6, 1846, in Strassburg, Germany, where she spent her girlhood, until her marriage to John Gottlob Baessler of Tubingen, Germany, in November 1873. She lived there until
the death of her husband in September, 1893. In 1894 she came to this country. She was the mother of five children, all of whom are still living. They are: Mrs. Louis Bidlingmaier of Delavan, Illinois; Theodore and Moritz Baessler and Mrs. E. W. Neumann of Coldwater, and Carl Baessler of Beaver, Oklahoma. She was a life long member of the Lutheran church. Her death occurred on November 14, 1917, aged 72 years, 1 month and 8 days. Her illness was only of short duration.
