THE WESTERN STAR, 14 October 1893 |
Obituary of DAVID MORRIS |
DIED. David Morris, the young colored man whom The Star mentioned last week as being seriously ill, died at 3:30 o'clock, Monday morning last, after ten days illness from intestinal obstruction of the bowels. The deceased was age 17 years and 25 days at the date of his death. He was tenacious of life, and did not want to give up on the Grim Destroyer, but his time had come, and he was called to the Great Beyond. The funeral took place from the family residence at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning . |
