COMANCHE COUNTY CITIZEN, 27 March 1885
Obituary of MELVIN BRAVMAN
Mr. Melvin Brayman departed this life March 22, 1885, at the age of 29 years, 11 months and 16 days. The deceased was born in Kent county, Michigan, making Michigan and southern Indiana his home until last fall,
when he came to this vicinity, intending to make this his future home. He was stricken down with typhoid fever weeks ago. He leaves a wife and one little girl, and a host of friends to mourn his loss. "But our loss is his gain." He died in full assurance of meeting his friends in the better world, having put on Christ four years ago.

To the stricken wife we would say think not of your loss, but of his unspeakable joy in the promise of Christ. Soon the pilgrimage of life will be o'er, and soon will come the reunion in the home of the blest, where there will be no more deaths-no more partings.
