THE WESTERN STAR, 11 July 1885 |
Obituary of O. G. ROSS |
O. G. Ross, a young man living with his parents about one
mile from Protection, was struck by lightning and instantly killed on the
night of the 4th of July. His father and mother were sleeping in the same
room, but knew nothing of the lightning striking the house and killing
their son until morning, when they discovered his lifeless form. The deceased was a printer by trade, and was employed for several weeks during last spring in this office. Peace to his ashes. |
