Mary Ann Zeigenfuss was born in Wisconsin [Hazel Green], December 13, 1859,
and died at Leoville, Kansas, April 17, 1930 at the age of 70, years, 5 months
and 4 days.
In 1882, she was united in marriage to Adam Heim and to this union were born
nine children, four boys and five girls.
She was preceded in death by, two children, one boy [Joseph] and one girl
[Magdalena]. She is survived by
her husband and seven children, Anton, John and William, Mrs. Anna Berls, Mrs.
Elnore Kleinsorge, Mrs. Mary Meitl and Mrs. Minnie Zimmerman, all of Leoville.
One brother, Henry Zeigenfuss, Canute, Oklahoma and one sister, Mrs. Minnie
Bartel of Auburn, Iowa and 39 grandchildren, all living around Leoville and
many more relatives and friends.
The funeral services were held Monday, April 21, at 9 o'clock at the
Immaculate Conception church, Father M. J. Schmitt performing the ceremony.
She was carried to rest by six of her grandchildren, John and George
Kleinsorge, Joseph and Edward Berls, Paul Meitl and Clarence Heim.
