VETERAN, U.S. NAVY

Larry Ross Berry, 71, Natoma, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, at Hays Medical Center.
He was born South of Hill City. He attended school in Quinter. He married Reva Marie Pooley on April 11, 1964, in Plainville. He worked in oil fields as an operator of a pulling unit for SOS Well Service. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; three sons, Tyrill Berry, Tracey Berry, and Travis Berry, three daughters, Trisha Owns, Taryn Martinez, and Tonya Rosales, three sisters, Donna Dugan, Carole Zerr, and Sharon Patterson, and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Natoma United Methodist Church; inurnment will follow services. A private family burial will follow at a later time.
