Virginia (Knouf) BRANDYBERRY

Virginia Knouf Brandyberry, 101, Hill City, died Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at Graham County Hospital, Hill City. She was born Oct. 23, 1905, in rural Graham County to Oscar Emanuel and Vada Mae (Owens) Knouf. She was a longtime resident of the area and was a homemaker. She married Walter A. ÒW.A.Ó Brandyberry on Sept. 14, 1924, in Phillipsburg. He preceded her in death Feb. 3, 1982. She was a member of Hill City Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Ardon Brandyberry, and Norman Brandyberry, 21 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and many great great grandchildren. Her husband; two daughters, Elaine Pearl Brandyberry and Vada Fay Tallman, one brother, two sisters and two great-grandchildren preceded her in death.

Burial in the Hill City Cemetery.
