Howard R. Keith, 83, Zurich, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at Via Christi-St. Francis Hospital, Wichita. He was born March 26, 1924, in Penokee to Charles Lester and Lenna Elizabeth (Green) Keith. He married Mary Frances Tremblay on Nov. 23, 1948, in Damar. He worked for Berexco Oil Co. from 1963 as a pumper, retiring in 1995. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Cleon Keith, three daughters, Brenda Holler, Rita Lill, and Patti Thummel, three sisters, Thelma Mae McAfee, Vera Louise DuVall, and Arvilla Marie Taylor, nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Plainville; Burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Zurich.
