W. H. "Dub" MARTIN

W.H. "Dub" Martin, 89, Hill City, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, at his home. He was born June 8, 1917, in Breckenridge, Texas, son of George Samuel and Effie Mae (Yancey) Martin. He married Elsie Marie Schoolcraft on April 29, 1939, in Breckenridge. He worked in oilfield construction.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; five sons. Lewis Martin, William Martin Jr., Tommy Martin, Kenny Martin, and Randy Martin, a daughter, Barbara Bell, a sister, Joanna Stoker, 19 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.


Burial in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Hill City.
