Mabel Cecil RIGGS
Mabel Cecil Riggs, 93, Hill City, formerly of Morland, died at Dawson Place Nursing Home, Hill City. She was born near St. Peter to Alfred Leander and Stella Mae (Milburn) Hobbs. She married Floyd Arial Riggs on July 28, 1934, in WaKeeney. He preceded her in death on July 29, 1940. She married Leonard Murphy in 1965. He preceded her in death in 1977. Survivors include three daughters, Faye Minium, Beulah Brown, and Charlotte Keith, 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son; and two grandsons. Burial in WaKeeney City Cemetery.
