Julie (Hickert) SCHINDLER

Julie Schindler, 47, died Sunday, April 27, 2003, as a result of an auto accident near Lawrence. She was born Jan. 19, 1956, in Hoxie Daughter of Nomlan I. and Bessie 0. (Birch) Hickert. She graduated from Fort Hays State University. She married Louis G. Schindler on June 2, 1977, in Hill City. She was a science teacher at Oakley Middle School the past 11 years.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Bo, a daughter, Beverly Novacky, two stepdaughters, Lori Schindler, and Lisa Inslee, three brothers, Joe Hickert, Bill Hickert, and David Hickert, and 11 grandchildren.
Her parents preceded her in death.


Burial in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Hill City.
